Barrels & Brews

Back by popular demand, Mason General Hospital Foundation’s Barrels & Brews fundraiser for Mason Health returns this year! This year we are raising funds for a new High Field Open MRI at Mason General Hospital! Our goal is to raise funds locally and retain those dollars within our community!

Join us on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Kneeland Park in Shelton, for an evening of fundraising for medical equipment at Mason General Hospital. Enjoy live music, sip and taste local beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages from local drinking holes, and show your support for quality health care in Mason County!

High Steel Beer Co., Steam Donkey Brewing and others will be participating!

County Line Fire, Pig Boys BBQ, Tacos La Oaxaquena and Ay-Chihuahua Dawgs will be selling food for purchase from food trucks and food booths, with a portion of sales contributing to Mason General Hospital Foundation.

Steph's Espresso will be offering energy drinks and cold brew drinks.

Doors open at 2 p.m. Last call for drinks will be 6 p.m. with bars closing at 6:30 p.m.

Mason Transit Authority will be providing a free shuttle every 30 minutes between Olympic Middle School and Shelton Athletic Club, starting at 1:30 p.m. The last shuttle will leave Shelton Athletic Club by 7:30 p.m. Thank you MTA!

Patrons are also encouraged to use Mason Transit Authority or local taxi services. The free Dial-A-Ride program will be operating all day. Dial-A-Ride will only travel within Mason County. MTA recommends that persons schedule their Dial-A-Ride reservation 48 hours in advance to assure a ride is available. Reservation requests can be made a minimum of two hours in advance and a maximum of two weeks in advance. Persons are allowed a maximum of three round-trip reservations at a time. Rides are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and are not guaranteed. Call 360-427-5033 or 800-374-3747 to schedule your rides.
