Meet Vanessa Cray, PMHNP-BC
Primary Care
Vanessa Cray, PMHNP-BC, joined the staff at Mason Clinic in 2020. Cray is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who has a passion for working with the mental health population. She has enjoyed working with this population for nearly a decade in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Cray values her relationship with both her patients and their loved ones. Most importantly, she is drawn to the philosophy of patient-centered care, incorporating the patient’s personal ideals and cultural understanding into the focus of their own treatment. Cray’s position is to act as a guide for the patient to ensure the best patient care and outcome possible.
Cray obtained her registered nursing degree at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif., and studied for her undergraduate degree at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Calif. She also prides herself in receiving her graduate degree at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
When Cray is not busy advocating for her patients, she enjoys volunteering for the homeless population, hiking, participating in outdoor activities and spending time with her family and her dog.
Cray looks forward to meeting new patients at Mason Clinic and collaborating in a safe, therapeutic environment, free from judgment.
