This year’s Fund-An-Item appeal will help us purchase four new Philips Avalon FM series fetal and maternal monitors for Mason Health’s award-winning Birth Center. The total fundraising goal is $140,000.

The Avalon FM monitors are the first and only to offer automated coincidence detection with Smart Pulse technology, as well as the only product that can monitor triplets on a single monitor using the same Ultrasound frequency. With this new technology in the Birth Center, Mason Health can prevent birth complications and improve care outcomes for expectant mothers. Fetal monitors allow providers to identify potential problems early and detect signs of fetal distress.
